On this date...

In 1264 the first convent of nuns, the Augustinians of Oberndorf in Wurttemberg, was aggregated to the Order.

We are followers of Jesus Christ, who live in faith-filled community in the spirit of St. Augustine, the great Doctor of the Church.

Augustine, throughout his life, sought to promote unity and friendship, true communion, and promoted a style of religious life that was inspired by the early Christian community found in the Acts of the Apostles.

This site is designed especially for members of the Augustinian Family, and at the same time we hope that other visitors will feel at home and be able to learn something about who we are -- our life, our spirituality, our commitment to building community. And while you are here, you will also discover something about the myriad of ways that we serve others throughout the world.
